Definitions

In this policy, “New Hope,” “we,” and “us” mean New Hope Worship Center in Grovetown, Georgia. “This website” or “our site” means the New Hope Worship Center website you are visiting, including pages for worship, next steps, giving, events, watch, and related forms.

“You” means anyone who visits or uses this website. “Services” means tools we use to operate ministry online, including Pushpay for giving, Planning Center / Church Center for events and forms, and YouTube for messages.

This website does not require a New Hope login, and New Hope does not offer a church mobile app from this site. If you create an account on Church Center, Pushpay, YouTube, or another partner site, that account is governed by that partner’s own terms and privacy policy.

Overview

New Hope exists to reach people far from God and lead people to their next step in a God-first life. We use this website to share who we are, invite you to Sundays and next steps, and make it easier to watch, give, and get connected.

You can browse most of this site without sending us personal information. We do not sell your information. We do not run third-party advertising on this website. When you choose to contact us, give, register, or submit a form, we use that information to respond, to serve the church, and to operate the features you requested.

By using this website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Our Terms of Use also apply. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

How we collect, use, and share information

What we collect depends on how you use the site. Typical categories:

Information you give us

We collect information when you fill out a form, email info@nhwc.org, call 706-868-6410, or otherwise contact the church. Examples on this website include Come & See interest, prayer requests, Share Your Story, and Site Feedback.

You decide what to share. Some forms ask only for a name and email. Prayer and story forms may include sensitive details you choose to provide. We treat those submissions as ministry communications, not as public posts, unless you clearly ask us to share them.

Giving

Online giving happens on Pushpay at pushpay.com/g/nhwcgrovetown. Pushpay, not this website, processes your payment. See Pushpay’s privacy policy for how they handle financial data. New Hope uses gift records to apply your designation, issue statements, and communicate about generosity. We may also contact you about other giving opportunities. You can ask us to update your contact preferences at any time.

Events, groups, and Church Center

Event listings on this site may be drawn from Planning Center. If you register, join a group, or complete a Church Center form at nhwc.churchcenter.com, Planning Center’s policies apply to that account and those submissions. We use that information to run events, follow up, and serve our ministries.

Volunteers and employment

If you apply to serve or to work at New Hope, we collect the information needed to review your application. Background checks, if required, are handled through screening providers who may only use that information for the check. We do not ask for government ID numbers on this public website.

Children

This website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site for marketing. Kids and student ministry details shared by a parent or guardian are used only to serve that family in ministry.

Automatic data collection

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log technical data (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps) to operate, secure, and diagnose the site. This website does not load advertising pixels, and we do not sell browsing data.

Embedded players and partner tools may set their own cookies or similar technologies. YouTube embeds, Pushpay, and Church Center are controlled by those companies. You can limit cookies in your browser; some features may then work less well.

Site Feedback may include your browser name, operating system, screen size, and user-agent string so our team can reproduce a problem. That information is sent only if you submit the form.

How we communicate

If you give us an email address or phone number, we may use it to answer you, share ministry updates you requested, or follow up about an event, class, or gift. You can ask us to stop routine ministry email by contacting info@nhwc.org. We may still send a message when needed for a gift receipt, a registration you started, or a security or legal issue.

Sensitive information

Visiting this website does not tell us your beliefs. We do not require religious, health, or other sensitive data to browse. If you share a prayer need, story, or similar detail, we use it only to respond and to provide the care you asked for, and we do not sell it.

When we disclose information

We share information only as needed to operate the church and this website:

• Ministry staff and volunteers who need it to respond to your request (for example, a prayer team member or the person who follows up on Come & See).
• Service providers who host the site, send email, process gifts (Pushpay), manage events and people records (Planning Center), or show videos (YouTube / Google). They should use your information only to provide their service to us.
• Legal requests if we are required by law, court order, or a good-faith need to protect someone’s safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or defend the church.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertisers for their ads.

Accessing, correcting, and deleting information

This website does not have a New Hope member login. To ask what personal information we have from a form or email, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email info@nhwc.org with the subject line “Privacy request” and include your name, a way to reach you, and what you are asking us to do.

We may need to verify that the request is coming from you. We may keep records when the law, tax rules, gift receipts, safety, or an unresolved ministry matter requires it. Church Center and Pushpay accounts must be managed with those providers as well.

If a privacy or consumer law in your state gives you additional rights, include your state in the subject line. We will not treat you differently for making a good-faith request. We do not charge a fee unless a request is excessive or unfounded, and we would tell you first.

Visitors outside the United States

New Hope Worship Center is located in Grovetown, Georgia, in the United States. Information submitted through this website is processed in the U.S. If you visit from another country, you understand that U.S. and Georgia law may differ from the rules where you live, and you consent to that transfer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or tools change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. The current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
