Jamaica Mission Trip

Join our team as we partner with YWAM Jamaica and Homes of Hope to bring practical help and lasting hope to communities in Jamaica. The team will help build a home for a family displaced by a hurricane, then travel to YWAM’s Stone’s Hope campus in Manchester to explore reopening a local literacy program that closed during COVID-19.

Hurricane Recovery and Literacy Outreach

Ministry partners are YWAM Jamaica, Homes of Hope, and Project 143 Foundation.

  • Build a home for a hurricane-displaced family through Homes of Hope.
  • Support hurricane-recovery efforts through practical service.
  • Scout the reopening of a local school literacy program that closed during COVID-19.
  • Make repairs and complete general upkeep at the Stone’s Hope campus.
  • Serve alongside YWAM Jamaica staff and local community partners.

  • Fly into Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
  • YWAM Montego Bay - Blairgowrie Estate, Long Hill, Reading, St. James, Jamaica.
  • Homes of Hope build site - a community in the Montego Bay area; the exact family and neighborhood will be assigned closer to the trip. The home will serve a family displaced by a hurricane.
  • YWAM Stone’s Hope Campus - near Newport in Manchester Parish, Jamaica (mailing address: P.O. Box 7, Newport, Manchester).
  • Local school literacy-program site in Manchester Parish - exact school name and address to be confirmed during the scouting process.
